1. The Ocean Falls Corporation Act, R.S.B.C. 1979, c. 304, is repealed.

2. (1) On the repeal of the Act,
(a) the Ocean Falls Corporation is dissolved,
(b) the appointment of each director of the corporation is terminated,
(c) all of the rights, property and assets of the corporation are transferred to and vested in the government, and
(d) the government assumes all obligations and liabilities of the corporation.
(2) Section 4 of the Public Sector Restraint Act and the regulations made under that section apply in respect of an employee whose employment is terminated on or after July 7, 1983, and for this purpose the Provincial Secretary and Minister of Government Services has power to administer those regulations in respect of those employees.

3. This Act comes into force by regulation of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
