NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On April 30, 2018, at the 18800 block of 16 Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team seized, on or about 10:00 Hours, the subject property, described as: miscellaneous extension cords, miscellaneous tools, miscellaneous trailer hitches, miscellaneous auto parts, miscellaneous speakers, miscellaneous gauges, Mastercraft tool drawer unit, a generic home stereo equipment, an automotive car starter, an automotive supercharger, miscellaneous tie-down straps, a portable camp stove, an inflatable bed in a green bag, a truck winch, a black air hose, a Motomaster battery charger, an air compressor, painting coveralls, automotive springs and shocks, a box of clay pigeons, miscellaneous cords, ropes, and wires, miscellaneous subwoofers (Dual, Bassworx, Alpine, PG, NOS, generic), a mosaic tile mirror, tie-down straps, manual twist press, sledge hammers, steel breaker bars, miscellaneous plumbing parts, an electric fuel pump, a Dell computer, an electric pump, two beer kegs, a glass bathroom sink, a Salton bread maker, miscellaneous lamps, an electronic safe, an APC battery backup, an Outlander fire bowl, miscellaneous life jackets, miscellaneous Makita power tools, miscellaneous duffel bags, tool bags, and totes, and an Arctic Air air-conditioner. The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 322 (Theft) and section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 5, 2017, at the 1900 block of 10 Avenue, New Westminster, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $820.00 CAD, $200.00 CAD, $85.15 CAD, a silver watch, a white ladies Thomas Sabo watch, a men’s Carrera Cal 1887 black strap watch, and miscellaneous designer bags, wallets, and luggage on or about 18:30 Hours. On December 6, 2017, at the 6600 block of Lynas Lane, Richmond, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,536.00 USD, $2.00 USD, miscellaneous foreign currencies, a DKNY stainless steel silver watch, a brown Giovanni Valentino watch, a silver/gold bracelet, a V shaped necklace, a gold pin, a red ruby pendant with six diamond studs, a broche with woman and bat in plastic case with 1 blue sponge, miscellaneous designer bags and wallets, and miscellaneous collector coins, on or about 17:30 Hours. On December 13, 2017, at the Vancouver Police Garage (Found inside a seized Land Rover, BCLP: 814MML), Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,290.00 CAD, $85.15 CAD, and $8.20 CAD, on or about 18:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6101.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under under s. 348(1) (Breaking and entering) and/or s. 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

On December 5, 2017, at the 5700 block of Winch Street, Burnaby, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2008 Ford Taurus (BCLP: FH170C, VIN: 1FMDK02W38GA39547), $5.15 CAD, $3.75 CAD and $13.75 CAD, on or about 20:00 Hours. CFO file number: 2018-6101.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence it was used in and/or obtained in the commission of offences under s. 348(1) (Breaking and entering) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 4, 2018, at the 6600 block of Vedder Road, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2004 Honda Civic DX (BCLP: GR306F, VIN: 1HGEM21214L806814), on or about 00:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6249.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On May 10, 2017, at the 10,600 block of 135A Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,900.75 CAD, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6260.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 4, 2017 at 300 block of 4 Street, Courtenay, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Comox RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,098.25 CAD, three Samsung cell phones, an Apple computer, a new money counter in box, and a vacuum sealer, on or about 15:30 Hours. On October 12, 2017, at the 300 block of 4 Street, Courtenay, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Comox RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $122.40 CAD, $38.25 CAD, a LG cell phone, a Samsung cell phone, a Triton digital scale, a new digital scale in box, a HP computer, a RCA computer, and a Black Web usb stick, on or about 14:55 Hours. The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On February 22, 2017, at the 1500 block of Piercy Avenue, Courtenay, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Comox RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $60.00 CAD, on or about 12:00 Hours, and $2,985.00 CAD, $252.52 CAD, $15.00 CAD, on or about 12:16 Hours. The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On August 15, 2018, near the intersection of 76 Avenue and 149 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2006 Pontiac G5 (BCLP: ER042X, VIN: 1G2AN15B267806769), on or about 13:13 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6314.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 16, 2017, at the 6500 block of Clinton Street, Burnaby, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Burnaby RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $40.00 CAD, on or about 12:48 Hours, and $7,396.50 CAD, on or about 21:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6325.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence it was obtained in the commission of an offence under s. 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) ($40), and a warrant was authorized by the court pursuant to the CDSA to seize evidence in respect of offences under s. 5(2) of the CDSA ($7,396.50).

AND:

On October 14, 2018, near the intersection of Guildford Way and Johnson Street, Coquitlam, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2007 Audi A3 (BCLP: 108XVK, VIN: WAUHF78P17A011246), $1,060.00 CAD, $180.00 CAD, $445.00 CAD, $530.00 CAD, $45.00 CAD, a Blackberry cell phone, and a Samsung cell phone, on or about 23:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6342.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On July 29, 2018, at the 300 block of Seaview Drive, Port Moody, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Port Moody Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,390.00 CAD, on or about 06:00 Hours. On July 29, 2018, during a vehicle search at the Port Moody Police Detachment (3051 Saint Johns Street, Port Moody, B.C.), Peace Officer(s) of the Port Moody Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a Sony PsVita, a white helmet, miscellaneous tools, a silver men’s ring, miscellaneous Riobel shower accessories, and a silver women’s ring with blue gem/diamond, on or about 14:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6366.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 348 (Break and enter) and section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On September 26, 2018, near the intersection of the Fraser Highway and 206 Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP CFSEU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,440.00 CAD, $500.00 CAD, an Apple iPhone, and a flip-phone cell phone, on or about 19:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6370.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On May 4, 2017, near the intersection of Central Avenue and Boundary Drive, Grand Forks, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Grand Forks RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $4,345.00 CAD, on or about 19:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6374.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 15, 2015, at the 2200 block of E 49 Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime unit seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $50,040.00 CAD, $2,240.00 CAD, $100.00 USD, and 100.00 PEN, on or about 15:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6398.

The subject property was seized as evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 462.31(1) (Laundering proceeds of crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 13, 2017, at the 6200 block of Yew Street, Powell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Powell River RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2010 Ford Fusion (BCLP: EW305K, VIN: 3FAHP0CG7AR379917), on or about 15:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6400.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On September 20, 2016, at the 200 block of Birch Street, Campbell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Campbell River RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2013 Dodge Charger (BCLP: 178KBT, VIN: 2C3CDXBG4DH718063), on or about 13:47 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6406.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 2, 2018, at the 700 block of Cambie Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $65,210.00 CAD, on or about 23:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-6409.
