CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On January 13, 2017, at the 10100 block of 127 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,650 CAD, $12,065 CAD, and $50 USD, on or about 10:38 Hours. On January 26, 2017, at 106 Avenue & 135A Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $253.85 CAD and $5.25 CAD, on or about 11:17 Hours. On January 26, 2017, at the 9500 block of 127 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as $250 CAD, on or about 11:20 Hours, a 2008 red Cadillac CTS, BCLP: DP153T, VIN: 1G6DP57VX80183899, on or about 12:12 Hours, a 2004 brown Acura TL; BCLP: DG353V; VIN: 19UUA66214A803170, on or about 12:12 Hours, and $2,580 CAD and $100 CAD, on or about 13:29 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5483.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 16, 2018, at 96th Avenue at King George Boulevard, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 1999 Ford F250, BCLP: PW348V, VIN: 1FTNX21S7XEB75887, on or about 18:08 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5542.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 322 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On November 18, 2014, at the 600 block Rolph Street, Quesnel, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Quesnel RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,055 CAD and $250 INR, on or about 21:00 Hours, and multiple Uniden cameras, a monitor, a FLIR camera, Col Tech HD, and an Acer laptop, on or about 21:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5561.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 21, 2016, at the 13700 block 108th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $305 CAD, on or about 09:15 Hours, $950 CAD, on or about 09:36 Hours, and $1,375 CAD, on or about 09:36 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5578.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 12, 2018, at the 1000 Block of West Cordova, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $24,380 CAD, on or about 13:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5638.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 31, 2015, at 19811 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $15,203 CAD, on or about 16:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5646.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On August 26, 2017, at the 7600 block of 124th Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $320 CAD and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5653.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 1, 2018, at the 300 block of Rockland Road, Campbell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Campbell River RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2009 Dodge Journey; BCLP: FM805C; VIN: 3D4GG57B19T564838, on or about 13:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5664.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On July 3, 2014, at the 4000 block of 200th Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $545 CAD and $320 CAD, on or about 17:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5671.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 22, 2017, at the 20100 block of Langley Bypass, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2000 Dodge pick-up truck, grey, VIN 1B7KF2361YJ125890 BCLP LP5440, on or about 2252 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5676.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 322 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On January 11, 2018, on Gladstone Street near 32nd Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $487.45 CAD and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 11:15 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5689.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 11, 2018, at the 8400 block Unity Drive, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $9,825 CAD and $63 USD, on or about 17:00 Hours, $40 CAD, on or about 10:20 Hours, and a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, BCLP: 269MVN, VIN: 1J4GZ78Y0TC297940, on or about 13:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5696.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 29, 2013, at 2838 Justice Way (“Justice”), and at a unit at 31255 Upper Maclure Road (“Maclure”), both in Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $680 CAD, on or about 17:00 Hours (Justice), and $8,800 CAD, on or about 20:47 Hours (Maclure).
