Notice of application for permit approving the mine plan and reclamation program for Middle Mountain Minery.

Take notice that Helen C. Grond of Middle Mountain Minery has filed with the Chief Inspector of Mines, pursuant to Part 10.2.1 of the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia, a proposed mine plan together with a program for the protection and reclamation of the land and watercourses related to the proposed sand and gravel quarry located at Lot A, Section 2 Hornby Island, Nanaimo District, Plan VIP8814.

A copy of the permit application, including supporting documentation, is available for public viewing at the Hornby Island Public Library.

Any person affected by or interested in this program has 30 days to make written representation to the Chief Inspector of Mines, Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, c/o Southwest Region, PO Box 9395 Stn Prov Govt, Victoria BC V8W 9M9, or email: SouthwestminesDivision@gov.bc.ca, with a copy to Helen Grond, 3405 Euston Road, Hornby Island BC V0R 1Z0.
