CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On February 24, 2015, at the 100 block of 100A Avenue, Dawson Creek, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Dawson Creek RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $8,200 CAD, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5344.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 279(1) (Kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC); section 268 (Aggravated assault) of the CCC.

AND:

On December 23, 2017, at the 500 block of West Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,595 CAD, an iPhone, a ZTE cell phone, $86.45 CAD, $3 USD, a Blackberry cell phone, a Samsung cell phone, and a 2006 grey Ford Fusion; BCLP FL519X; VIN: 3FAFP07116R183153, on or about 02:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5423.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 13, 2017, at the 10100 block of 127 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,650 CAD, $12,065 CAD, and $50 USD, on or about 10:38 Hours. On January 26, 2017, at 106 Avenue and 135A Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $253.85 CAD and $5.25 CAD, on or about 11:17 Hours. On January 26, 2017, at the 9500 block of 127 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as $250 CAD, on or about 11:20 Hours, a 2007 blue Cadillac CTS; BCLP: EA136P; VIN: 1G6DM57T470189350, on or about 12:12 Hours, a 2004 brown Acura TL; BCLP: DG353V; VIN: 19UUA66214A803170, on or about 12:12 Hours, and $2,580 CAD and $100 CAD, on or about 13:29 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5483.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On September 11, 2013, at 152 Street & Highway 10, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $.45 USD, $37.41 CAD, $12.10 CAD, $630 CAD, $2 CAD, and $3 CAD, on or about 19:37 Hours. On September 12, 2013, at the 15700 block of Croydon Drive and the 17100 block of 26 Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $6.95 CAD, on or about 00:59 Hours (Croydon Drive), $18,475 CAD, on or about 01:15 Hours (26 Avenue), and $11,080 CAD and $120 USD, on or about 01:41 Hours (Croydon Drive). The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On February 8, 2018, at George Ferguson Way & McCallum Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2007 grey Toyota Camry; BCLP FE283J; VIN: 4T1BE46K17U561087 and $160 CAD, on or about 14:12 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5491.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 29, 2016, at University Drive and Old Yale Road, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $5,210 CAD, on or about 10:33 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5497.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 10, 2017, at the 14100 block of 84A Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $99.80 CAD, on or about 15:08 Hours, and a 1999 red Subaru Legacy; BCLP EF601R; VIN: 4S3BK4353X7311778, on or about 15:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5532.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 23, 2017, at 8430 Cambie Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $216 CAD and ¥55 CNY, on or about 22:33 Hours. On November 8, 2017, at the 00 block of Braid Street, New Westminster, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $890 CAD, on or about 11:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5543.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 22, 2017, at 215 Donald Road, Williams Lake, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Williams Lake RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $532 CAD, on or about 12:55 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5558.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On April 18, 2017, at the 9400 block of Carleton Street, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Chilliwack RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $790 CAD, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5570.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 20, 2015, at 138th Street and 115th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,493.50 CAD and $10 USD, on or about 09:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5577.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 7, 2017, at the 13,000 block of 103A Ave, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2010 ACURA TSX; BCLP: EG603G; VIN: JH4CU4F63AC800360, on or about 09:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5591.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 24, 2018, at the 6000 block of Knight Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,735 CAD, a ZTE cell phone, and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 22:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5600.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 17, 2018, at 55B Avenue and 181A Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $950 CAD, on or about 10:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5603.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 1, 2017, at the 14500 block of 72A Ave, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,050 CAD, on or about 23:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5604.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On July 11, 2017, at the 5700 block of 177B Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $205 CAD, on or about 15:08 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5606.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On June 16, 2016, at the 13400 Old Yale Road, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $20 CAD, on or about 19:04 Hours, $320 CAD, on or about 19:05 Hours, and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 19:07 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5610.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On July 2, 2016, at 13400 Old Yale Road, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $945 CAD, on or about 18:31 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5611.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On April 16, 2016, at the 13800 block of 68th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $540 CAD and a BlackBerry cell phone, on or about 00:05 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5612.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 11, 2018, at the 34400 block of Lonzo Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2010 white Mercedes C63; BCLP: FT314L; VIN: WDDGF7HB7AF366831, on or about 09:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5622.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 15, 2017, at the 7100 block of 120th Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Richmond RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2006 grey BMW X5; BCLP: ED987L; VIN: 5UXFB53536LV23334, on or about 15:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5632.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under sections 380(1)(Fraud) and 322 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Canada and was therefore offence-related property pursuant to section 2 (Definitions) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On February 4, 2018, at Fraser Street & Dewdney Trunk Road, Port Moody, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Port Moody Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2017 white Honda Civic; BCLP EW032V; VIN: 2HGFC3A50HH220311, and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 23:18 Hours.
