CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On November 8, 2016, at the 100 block of North Warwick Avenue, Burnaby, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Group 3 seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $74,580 CAD, on or about 20:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5305.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.

AND:

On July 20, 2017, at 1767 Island Highway, Colwood, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the West Shore RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $255 CAD, on or about 14:23 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5357.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under sections 449 (Making counterfeit money) and 452 (Uttering counterfeit money) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On June 9, 2016, at the 4400 block of East Marine Avenue, Powell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Powell River RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $6,296.05 CAD, on or about 20:29 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5393.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 3, 2017, at the 0 block of East Pender Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,366.95 CAD, on or about 12:04 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5397.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 26, 2017, at the 2800 block of East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,920 CAD and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 23:05 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5398.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada and section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On July 8, 2017, at the 1000 block of Harwood Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,740 CAD, on or about 03:47 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5399.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On June 15, 2017, at the 100 block of Main Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,710 CAD and a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 Camera, on or about 18:00 Hours.

On June 17, 2017, at the 900 block of East Cordova Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $50,276 CAD, $8,011 USD, a Silver Bar, a Governor General’s Academic award, two collectible sports cards, a Roman coin (470 B.C.), $196 CAD, $4 BBD, $2 BRL, 500 XOF, $7 BBD, 10,000 IDR, 10 ZAR, 5 DOP, $5 XCD, 500 GRD, on or about 21:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5404.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.

AND:

On August 10, 2017, at the 14900 block of 105th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $7,000 CAD, on or about 16:00 Hours.

On August 2, 2014, at the 1900 block of East 34th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $350 CAD, on or about 03:25 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5405.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On August 23, 2017, at the 600 block of Seymour Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $4,420 CAD, on or about 12:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5407.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 4, 2015, at the 1400 block of Kootenay Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Prince Rupert RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,671 CAD, on or about 19:54 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5410.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On August 23, 2017, at the 0 block of East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,210 CAD, on or about 23:02 Hours.

On July 19, 2017, at the 200 block of Keefer Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $410 CAD, on or about 07:36 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5412.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 11, 2017, at 20020 Willowbrook Drive, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2001 grey Honda Civic; BCLP: EW062K; VIN: 2HGES16641H922254, on or about 14:41 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5413.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 12, 2014, March 26, 2016, and October 9, 2017, at the 100 block of East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $279.70 CAD, on or about 10:59 Hours (October 12, 2014), $182.10 CAD, on or about 00:21 Hours (March 26, 2016), and $3,484.20 CAD and $3 USD, on or about 18:46 Hours (October 9, 2017). The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 24, 2017, at Como Lake Ave and Poirier Street, Coquitlam, B.C., Vancouver, Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2004 Infiniti FX35, VIN: JNRAS08W84X201889, a 2004 Infiniti FX35, VIN: JNRAS08W84X201891, BCLP: BX764V, and $6,827.55 CAD, all on or about 12:40 Hours.

On November 25, 2017, at the 2800 block of Hastings Street, Vancouver, Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $18,700 CAD, on or about 17:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5418.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 26, 2017, at the 3800 block of Fir Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $850 CAD, on or about 03:56 Hours, and a 1995 green BMW 525iA; BCLP: FB515J; VIN: WBAHD6325SGK50963, on or about 04:57 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5424.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 13, 2015, at the 10700 block of Doncaster Crescent, Delta, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Delta Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $4,015 CAD, two Apple iPhones, and a Samsung cell phone, on or about 03:18 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5428.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On August 18, 2016, at the 4300 block of West Saanich Road, Saanich, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Saanich Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $20.45 CAD, a gold ring with diamonds, a silver watch with stones, $400 CAD, a Caprice watch, a Joan Rivers watch, a gold necklace with pendant, bulk jewelery, a St. Christ watch, a gold horn pendant, foreign coins, and a gold necklace, all on or about 20:40 Hours. The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada. [mh1]
