CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On May 6, 2017, at the 10300 block of 127A Street, Fort St. John, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP CFSEU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $875 CAD, on or about 14:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5201.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On September 28, 2014, at the 9600 block of 93rd Avenue, Fort St. John, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Fort St. John RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $120 CAD and $540 CAD, on or about 20:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5408.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 22, 2018, at the 6500 block of Highway 11, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $650 CAD and $470 CAD, on or about 21:29 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5463.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 13, 2016 and November 14, 2016, at the 3000 block of Lincoln Avenue, Coquitlam, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $453.65 CAD, $1,640 CAD, $2,094 USD, and two pre-paid Visas, on or about 23:39 Hours (November 13, 2016), and $40 CAD, a Hisense TV, a Samsung sound bar, and a surround sound system, on or about 18:49 Hours (November 14, 2016). The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On April 1, 2017, at 552 Clarke Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $405 CAD, on or about 23:14 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5479.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 21, 2018, at the 32100 block of Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $650 CAD and $12 USD, on or about 00:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5480.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 30, 2017, at the 800 block of Granville Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $520 CAD, on or about 18:26 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5495.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On March 8, 2018, at George Ferguson Way & Cruickshank Avenue, the 2600 block of Pauline Street, and the 34100 block of Hallert Road, Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2007 grey Nissan Altima; BCLP: FK927X; VIN: 1N4AL21E07C205303, on or about 12:00 Hours, and $40 CAD, on or about 12:30 Hours (George Ferguson Way), $14,035 CAD and $20,000 CAD, on or about 13:17 Hours, $900 CAD and $400 CAD, on or about 13:23 Hours (Pauline Street), and $3,680 CAD, on or about 15:04 Hours (Hallert Road). The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 20, 2018, at Battleford Road & Seaton Street, Victoria, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Saanich Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2003 red Kia Sedona; BCLP: EJ305R; VIN: KNDUP131336346147, on or about 20:20 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5619.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada and section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On March 9, 2018, at Clearbrook Drive and Balfour Drive (Clearbrook) and on March 14, 2018, at the 2011 block Peardonville Road (Peardonville), both in Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2002 Honda Civic, BCLP: FW608X, VIN: 2HGES16832H919140, on or about 13:45 Hours (Clearbrook), and a 2005 Nissan Altima, BCLP: FN289J, VIN: 1N4AL11E75C296982, on or about 18:22 Hours (Peardonville). CFO file Number: 2018-5620.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 6, 2018, at Slocan Street & Grandview Highway, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $10,500 CAD, $4,625 CAD, $140 CAD, an iPhone, and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 16:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5621.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 17, 2016, at East Vernon Road & Hughes Road, Vernon, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the North Okanagan RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2014 black Kia Optima; BCLP: 921WTV; VIN: KNAGR4A64E5479688, on or about 12:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5624.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 94(1) (Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle) of the Criminal Code of Canada and was therefore offence-related property pursuant to section 2 (Definitions) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On March 23, 2018, at 34033 Lougheed Highway, Mission, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a 2004 Ford F150, BCLP: LS7862, VIN: 1FTPW14564KA73974, on or about 23:58 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5627.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 348 (Breaking and Entering) of the Criminal Code of Canada. [ap5]
