Section 1 definition of "pedestrian" BEFORE amended by BC Reg 248/2023, effective April 5, 2024

"pedestrian" means pedestrian as defined in section 119 of the Motor Vehicle Act;

Section 21 (3) (h) BEFORE repealed by BC Reg 115/2021, effective April 26, 2021.

(h) bring any animal other than a certified assistance dog into the interior areas or passenger lounges of a terminal or ferry.

Section 21 (4) BEFORE repealed by BC Reg 115/2021, effective April 26, 2021.

(4) A person who brings an animal, other than a certified assistance dog, on board a ferry must ensure that the animal remains, and is safely secured on, the designated vehicle deck of the vessel during the voyage.

Section 22 (1) BEFORE amended by BC Reg 115/2021, effective April 26, 2021.

(1) A person who contravenes section 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 (1) or (2), 9, 12 (2), 13, 15, 17, 18 (1), 20 or 21 (1), (3) or (4) commits an offence.
