Tribunal Small Claims Regulation

Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the Civil Resolution Tribunal Act.

Application

2 This regulation applies to tribunal small claims under Division 3 [Tribunal Small Claims] of Part 10 [Tribunal Jurisdiction] of the Act.

Maximum tribunal small claim amount

3 For the purposes of section 118 (1) [claims within jurisdiction of tribunal for tribunal small claims] of the Act, the maximum tribunal small claim amount prescribed is $5 000, exclusive of interest and any expenses referred to under section 49 [order for payment of expenses] of the Act.
