Community Services Interim Authorities Act
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities (Interim Authority for Community Living BC) Regulation
Definitions
1 In this regulation:
"Act" means the Community Services Interim Authorities Act;
"Community Living BC" means the authority known as Community Living British Columbia, established by the Community Living Authority Act;
"deferred contributions" means contributions for expenditures that will be incurred in future periods;
"Interim Authority" means the Interim Authority for Community Living British Columbia, established by the Interim Authorities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 304/2002.
Transfer from the Interim Authority to Community Living BC
2 Pursuant to section 14.1 of the Act, the following assets and liabilities of the Interim Authority are transferred to Community Living BC:
(a) current assets in the form of cash;
(b) current assets in the form of accounts receivable
(i) that are owing to the Interim Authority as of October 7, 2005, and
(ii) in the case of any amount in dispute on October 7, 2005, that are anticipated by the Interim Authority as being owing to the Interim Authority;
(c) capital assets consisting of information systems development cost in the form of work in progress and computer equipment;
(d) net assets consisting of investments in capital assets and unrestricted net assets;
(e) records;
(f) liabilities in the form of accounts payable
(i) that are owing by the Interim Authority as of October 7, 2005, and
(ii) in the case of any amount in dispute on October 7, 2005, that are anticipated by the Interim Authority as being owing by the Interim Authority;
(g) liabilities in the form of deferred contributions, consisting of restricted contributions provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development for the development and purchase of capital assets.
