City of Prince Rupert and District of Port Edward Additional Powers Regulation
Additional powers
1 The City of Prince Rupert and District of Port Edward are granted the additional powers to exempt by bylaw from the tax sale in 1997 the sale of properties owned or leased by Skeena Cellulose Inc.
No exemption after January 1, 1998
2 This exemption does not relieve the subject property from taxes lawfully imposed or prejudice the right of the collector to offer it for sale on any date designated by the collector after January 1, 1998.
