Industry Training Authority Act

Industry Training Regulation

Definition

1   In this regulation, "red seal trade" means a trade or occupation that has been designated by the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA) for inclusion in the Interprovincial Standards (Red Seal) Program.

Accredited programs

2   The following red seal trades are designated as accredited programs:

(a) agricultural equipment technician;

(b) appliance service technician;

(c) automotive painter;

(d) automotive service technician;

(e) baker;

(f) boilermaker;

(g) bricklayer;

(h) cabinetmaker;

(i) carpenter;

(j) concrete finisher;

(k) construction electrician;

(l) cook;

(m) electric motor system technician;

(n) electronics technician consumer products;

(o) floor covering installer;

(p) glazier;

(q) hairstylist;

(r) heavy duty equipment technician;

(s) industrial electrician;

(t) industrial mechanic (millwright);

(u) instrumentation and control technician;

(v) insulator (heat and frost);

(w) ironworker (generalist);

(x) ironworker (reinforcing);

(y) ironworker (structural/ornamental);

(z) lather (interior systems mechanic);

(aa) machinist;

(bb) metal fabricator (fitter);

(cc) mobile crane operator;

(dd) motor vehicle body repairer (metal and paint);

(ee) motorcycle mechanic;

(ff) oil heat systems technician;

(gg) painter and decorator:

(hh) partsperson;

(ii) plumber;

(jj) powerline technician;

(kk) recreation vehicle service technician;

(ll) refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic;

(mm) rig technician;

(nn) roofer;

(oo) sheet metal worker;

(pp) sprinkler system installer;

(qq) steamfitter-pipefitter;

(rr) tilesetter;

(ss) tool and die maker;

(tt) transport trailer technician;

(uu) truck and transport mechanic;

(vv) welder;

(ww) landscape horticulturalist.
