Application of regulations under the Oil and Gas Activities Act

2 (1) The Geophysical Exploration Regulation, other than section 12, under the Oil and Gas Activities Act applies for the purposes of the Geothermal Resources Act to exploration for geothermal resources.

(2) Repealed. [B.C. Reg. 39/2017, Sch. 1, s. 2.]

(3) The Geophysical Exploration Regulation, as it applies for the purposes of the Geothermal Resources Act, must be read as if references to the Act are references to the Geothermal Resources Act, and references to a geophysical permit holder are read as references to a person carrying out exploration for geothermal resources.
