Definition

1   In this regulation, "Act" means the Local Government Act.

Public hearings in relation to regional growth strategies

2   For the purpose of section 855 (4) of the Act,

(a) a public hearing under that section must be conducted in accordance with section 890 (3), (3.1) and (5) to (8) of the Act and, if applicable, section 891 of the Act,

(b) section 892 (2) to (9) of the Act applies to giving notice about the public hearing, and

(c) section 894 (2) and (3) of the Act applies in respect of proceedings following the public hearing.
