1 Subject to section 2, the cost of providing ambulance service to residents in the Province of British Columbia is borne by the corporation and those persons providing ambulance service authorized by the corporation will be reimbursed by the corporation in a manner prescribed and approved by the corporation.

2 The fee for a service set out in Column 1 of Schedule 1 is set out to the right of that service in Column 2 of that Schedule.

3 This does not preclude the corporation from requiring contribution from insurers or other agencies that may have the responsibility at present for paying for ambulance service.

5 (1) An applicant for a licence in a category listed in Column 1 of Schedule 2 must pay the licence fee shown opposite in Column 2, 3 or 4 of that Schedule, as applicable.
(2) An emergency medical assistant licensed in a category listed in Column 1 of Schedule 2 whose licence is renewed must pay the licence renewal fee shown opposite in Column 5 of that Schedule.
(3) Despite subsections (1) and (2), a licence fee is not payable in respect of a licence issued or extended under section 6 or 7 of the Emergency Medical Assistants Regulation, B.C. Reg. 210/2010.

Licence Fees
1 The definitions set out in section 1 of the Emergency Medical Assistants Regulation, B.C. Reg. 210/2010, apply for the purposes of this Schedule.
2 The fees for the purposes of section 5 are as follows:
