 Section 3 (2) (b) BEFORE amended by BC Reg 60/2016, effective March 2, 2016.

(b) the applicant is not residing with a parent or guardian, or

 Section 3 (2) (b.1) was added by BC Reg 60/2016, effective March 2, 2016.

 Section 3 (2) BEFORE repealed by BC Reg 63/2017, effective March 1, 2017.

(2) If an applicant for a BC identification card, other than a BC identification card that indicates the applicant is a Canadian citizen, is 12 years of age or older but under 19 years of age, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia must not issue a BC identification card without the consent of one of the applicant's parents or guardians unless

(a) the applicant is married,

(b) the applicant is not residing with a parent or guardian,

(b.1) the applicant is a member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, or

(c) circumstances make it impracticable to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian.

 Section 3 (1) (b), (c) and (d) BEFORE amended by BC Reg 76/2022, effective March 30, 2022.

(b) had his or her picture taken digitally and supplied a signature by a means required by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia that allows the signature to be stored electronically in a database,

(c) provided his or her full name and residential address,

(d) identified himself or herself to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia's satisfaction,

 Section 9 (1) (b), (c), (d) and (f) (part) BEFORE amended by BC Reg 76/2022, effective March 30, 2022.

(b) has had his or her picture taken digitally and supplied a signature by a means required by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia that allows the signature to be stored electronically in a database,

(c) has provided his or her full name and residential address,

(d) has identified himself or herself to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia's satisfaction,

(f) has surrendered all of the following that are held by him or her at the time of application:
