On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective January 1, 2022, the Employment Standards Regulation, B.C. Reg. 396/95, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

1 The Employment Standards Regulation, B.C. Reg. 396/95, is amended by adding the following Part:
Part 7.02 – Illness or Injury Leave
Illness and injury leave
45.031 For the purposes of section 49.1 (1) (a) of the Act, the prescribed number of days is 5 days.
