On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Class C Parks Regulations, B.C. Reg. 227/67, are amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

1 Section 1 of the Class C Parks Regulations, B.C. Reg. 227/67, is amended by repealing the definitions of "deputy minister" and "minister".
2 Sections 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 11 are amended by striking out "chairman" and substituting "chair".
3 Section 13 is amended
(a) in subsection (1) by striking out "his" and substituting "the member’s",
(b) in subsection (3) by striking out "his" and substituting "the minister’s", and
(c) in subsection (3) by striking out "he" and substituting "the minister".
4 Section 25 is repealed.
5 Section 38 is repealed and the following substituted:
38 No person in a park shall hunt or carry any loaded firearm other than
(a) a member of the armed forces, or
(b) a police officer, conservation officer or park officer
while engaged in the performance of the member’s or officer’s duty.
6 Section 39 is amended by striking out "the performance of his duty, shall have in his possession" and substituting "the performance of duties, shall have in the person’s possession".
7 Section 40 is amended by striking out "owned by him, or in his custody, or under his control" and substituting "owned by that person, or in the person’s custody or under the person’s control".
8 Section 45 is amended by striking out "deputy minister or any duly authorized park officer acting under his instructions" and substituting "deputy minister to the minister or any duly authorized park officer acting under the instructions of that deputy minister".
9 Section 46 is amended by striking out "deputy minister" in both places and substituting "deputy minister to the minister".
