B.C. Reg. 52/2023, deposited March 1, 2023, under the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [section 35] and EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [section 26]. Order in Council 142/2023, approved and ordered March 1, 2023.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(a) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(b) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

1 Section 7 (1) (b) of Schedule B of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended by striking out "Federal Department of Veterans Affairs" and substituting "Veterans Affairs Canada".

2 Section 8 (1) (c) of Schedule C is amended by striking out "Ministry of Health Services" and substituting "Ministry of Health".

3 Section 6 (n) of Schedule D is repealed.

Appendix 2

1 Section 70.3 (4) (a) and (b) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended by striking out "income assistance" and substituting "disability assistance".

2 Section 7 (1) (b) of Schedule B is amended by striking out "Federal Department of Veterans Affairs" and substituting "Veterans Affairs Canada".

3 Section 6 (1) (c) of Schedule C is amended by striking out "Ministry of Health Services" and substituting "Ministry of Health".

4 Section 6 (n) of Schedule D is repealed.
