Section 2 (4) was added by 2011-27-13, effective September 1, 2013 (BC Reg 99/2013).

Section 2 (3) (part) BEFORE amended by 2020-15-22, effective August 14, 2020 (Royal Assent).

(3) The chief inspector and the minister under the Mines Act must not, for or in relation to a mining activity in the Flathead watershed area,

Oil and gas activity

3 The Oil and Gas Commission must not issue a permit under section 25 of the Oil and Gas Activities Act in relation to the exploration for and development and production of petroleum, natural gas or both in the Flathead watershed area.
