Financial Administration Act

Government Body Designation
and Deeming Regulation

Definition

1   In this regulation, "Act" means the Financial Administration Act.

Public authorities designated as government bodies

2   Each of the following public authorities is designated, under paragraph (d) of the definition of "government body" in section 1 of the Act, as a government body for the purposes of the Act:

(a) the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District;

(b) the Greater Vancouver Water District;

(c) an improvement district as defined in the Local Government Act.

Organizations deemed to be government bodies

3   The Providence Health Care Society is an organization deemed, under section 88 (2) (b) of the Act, to be a government body for the purposes of Parts 8, 9 and 9.1 of the Act.
