International Commercial Arbitration Act

International Commercial Arbitration Regulation

[includes amendments up to B.C. Reg. 457/88]

Exemption

1A person who

(a)is not a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, and

(b)appears as counsel or advocate in an international commercial arbitration under the International Commercial Arbitration Act or gives legal advice concerning that arbitration

is, with respect to that appearance or legal advice, exempt from section 261 of the Legal Profession Act.
