Vancouver Charter
[includes amendments up to B.C. Reg. 467/95]
1 Bylaws made under section 124 of the Motor Vehicle Act are a prescribed category of bylaw for the purposes of section 482.1 (1) (a) of the Vancouver Charter.
2 For each paragraph specified in this section, bylaws made under the provisions of the Vancouver Charter specified in that paragraph are a prescribed category of bylaw for the purposes of section 482.1 (1) (a) of the Vancouver Charter:
(a) section 272 (1);
(b) section 279A;
(c) section 279B (1);
(d) section 291;
(d.1) section 300 (a);
(e) section 306;
(f) section 311;
(g) section 314 (1);
(h) section 317;
(i) section 319;
(j) section 323, except as regards the discharge of firearms;
(k) section 324;
(l) section 330;
(m) section 491;
(n) section 565;
(o) section 565A;
(p) section 571A (1).

3 Persons who act
(a) as special constables, officers or members and constables of the Provincial police force or a municipal police force or members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
(b) as local assistants to the fire commissioner under section 6 of the Fire Services Act,
(c) as fire wardens appointed by the Fire Chief under the Fire Bylaw, or
(d) on behalf of the Council or the Park Board under the Vancouver Charter in the administration of one or more land use, building construction and safety, licensing, traffic and parking enforcement, street use, nuisance, health, animal control or similar bylaws
are prescribed classes of persons for the purposes of section 482.1 (1) (b) of the Vancouver Charter.
4 (1) A ticket issued under section 482.1 of the Vancouver Charter must be in Form A or Form B.
(2) The certificate of service and affidavit of no response to be printed on the reverse side of the ticket must be
(a) in Form A.1 with respect to a ticket in Form A, and
(b) in Form B.1 with respect to a ticket in Form B.
(3) The instructions to be printed on the reverse side of the copy of the ticket given to the person alleged to have contravened a bylaw must be
(a) in Form A.2 with respect to a ticket in Form A, and
(b) in Form B.2 with respect to a ticket in Form B.
(4) The notice of bylaw infraction must be in Form B.3.
(5) The instructions to be printed on the reverse side of the notice of bylaw infraction must be in Form B.4.
